Christina + Jason's Boston Wedding

July 16, 2016

Christina and Jason had an incredible wedding. They got married in July on one of the hottest days of the year but we had a blast regardless! The videographers, myself, and the whole bridal party found a completely new appreciation for air conditioning that day :)

I arrived as Christina was getting her makeup done at the Hilton Boston/Dedham Hotel - she was in a room alone with her makeup artist (who was also one of her bridesmaids, how cool is that?!). Christina being alone in a room with only one other person really helped to produce some amazing imagery!

Once her makeup was done and she was in her dress, we hopped on the trolley to head to Harvard University's Arnold Arboretum for Christina and Jason's first look. What a breathtaking location! I shot their engagement session at the Arboretum, although in a completely different area, and I was equally amazed by the beauty each time I went.

Christina looked absolutely gorgeous on her wedding day and Jason looked pretty freaking dapper, as well! They were such a fun couple to photograph. To see their ENTIRE gallery, please click here. Samantha + Michael's Newport Wedding

June 25, 2016

Sam and Mike have been dating since the 5th grade! Going into their wedding, I didn't know this about them and I was blown away when I heard how long they have been together. Thoughts like "dude, what took you so long?" popped into my mind but I could tell these two were waiting for the perfect moment to wed. And what a perfect moment it was!

The day started off super hot but I just knew it was going to be an absolutely amazing day. I arrived to Founders Hall on the Salve Regina Campus early, as I always do, and quickly found Sam. She was getting her hair done and her bridesmaids were finishing up their makeup. Everyone looked so stunning. Sam put so much thought into all the little details to make her wedding day perfect.

This was my first opportunity to photograph a wedding in Newport, so I didn't quite know what to expect when I arrived at the ceremony. When I walked in to Ochre Court (Ogden Goelet and his family's summer residence, yea SUMMER residence. Not bad eh?), my breath was literally taken away. The opulence of the mansion was incredible and I couldn't believe I had the privilege of photographing a wedding in this amazing building! During the ceremony, Sam and Mike wrote their own incredibly powerful vows and there wasn't a dry eye in attendance as they were reading them to each other. It was amazing to hear the love these two have for each other.

After the ceremony, we partied it up at Hotel Viking and had an amazing night. Jon Smith from Unique Sounds kept the dance floor packed all night long! I highly encourage you to check out Sam and Mike's FULL wedding gallery here!
