Anthony Niccoli Photography

A boutique studio built on a genuine love
for what this work is.

Anthony Niccoli Photography is a boutique wedding photography studio serving couples across southeastern Massachusetts, Cape Cod, Rhode Island, Connecticut, and beyond. Every wedding we take on goes through the same process — the same consultation, the same creative standards, and the same delivery — from first conversation through final gallery. That consistency is what this studio is built on.

The Studio

The people behind the work.

This is a two-photographer studio. Every wedding we take on is covered by one of us — and both of us shoot within the same creative direction, hold every wedding to the same standard, and deliver every gallery with the same level of care.

Anthony Niccoli, Founder and Lead Photographer

Anthony

Founder · Lead Photographer

Anthony founded the studio in 2009 after a decade behind a video camera. When a friend asked him to photograph her sister's wedding, he said yes, figuring it couldn't be that hard. It was harder than expected. Seventeen years and 280+ weddings later, it's still the best day of his week. His approach is unobtrusive and efficient — he reads rooms, works quietly in the background, and makes people comfortable without making a production of it. Having two daughters has changed how he photographs certain moments. The father-daughter dance in particular. He thinks about that one at every wedding.

Emily has been photographing weddings for eleven years. Her approach is intuitive rather than technical — she reads a room, finds the light, and trusts her instincts. Her posing is strong, her work is calm and consistent, and her galleries speak for themselves.

How We Work

The work that gets us recommended.

The style this studio is known for — light, airy, unobtrusive — was never built deliberately. We got better at what came naturally, stayed consistent to how we see things rather than chasing what other photographers were doing, and ended up with work that people recognize without being told who made it. By not developing a style, we developed a style.

The reputation that keeps us on preferred vendor lists at the best venues in southeastern Massachusetts isn't just about the photos. It's about how a wedding day runs when we're there. We keep timelines. We read rooms. We treat a wedding day like the production it is — with coordinators, families, and vendors who are all counting on things to move the way they should. Most photographers don't approach it that way. Venues notice the difference, and their clients hear about it.

How This Started

We said yes.
Figuring it couldn't be that hard.

Anthony came to photography sideways. A decade of video work — snowboarding trips, short films, anything worth pointing a camera at — eventually led to a studio photography class that shifted something. Then a close friend asked if he'd shoot her sister's wedding. He said yes.

It was harder than expected. He got better. Over the years he thought about stepping back more than once. What kept him going was what happens on a wedding day — the energy, the stakes, the particular high that doesn't come from anywhere else. After 280+ weddings, that part hasn't changed. Building this into a real studio — not just something one person is good at, but something that runs well and consistently — is what he's focused on now.

"Our initial phone call was like chatting with an old friend who had the same vision as us. He immediately felt like an old friend who made us laugh and relax."
