The Red Lion Inn's 1704 barn is the kind of space that photographs itself. Cathedral ceilings with exposed post-and-beam structure, vintage chandeliers casting warm light across the dance floor, and the natural stone rockface with uplighting that creates some of the most dramatic reception portraits we shoot anywhere in southeastern Massachusetts.

The property's layout is a photographer's dream — the Hillside House provides beautiful getting-ready space, the pool and garden terrace open up outdoor portrait options, and the Cave serves as a natural after-party backdrop that gives the night an entirely different visual character. No matter what time of year, there's always a compelling shot around every corner.

We've photographed weddings at The Red Lion Inn across every season. Fall is particularly spectacular — the surrounding Cohasset Village foliage, the warm barn interior, and the golden-hour light hitting the garden creates images that are impossible to replicate anywhere else on the South Shore.

The Red Lion Inn refers more of our couples than any other venue we work with — roughly a third of our weddings each year happen here. Their sales team keeps sample albums of our work on display in the venue, and we've had the honor of photographing the wedding of one of their own coordinators.
