Engagements

Shannon + Marc's Engagement Session

Shannon and Marc embarked on what she thought was a normal walk along the Cape Cod seashore, just down the street from her mom's house. Marc, however, had different plans. They walked out to the tip of The Knob in Falmouth, he got down on one knee, and made Shannon's dreams come true!

I had the privilege of photographing this couple last weekend and, despite heavy winds, we were able to capture some awesome photos and an EPIC sunset! These two are pure naturals in front of the camera - I hardly had to give them any direction at all, their love for each other radiated during the whole shoot. They were so comfortable and natural together it made my job very easy! This was my first time at The Knob shooting an engagement session and I'm hoping it won't be my last.

Here are a few highlights from their engagement session. If you'd like to view ALL the images from the session, please click here.

Rachel & Tyler's Engagement Session

I had the honor of shooting an engagement session for this awesome couple last week! We met through a mutual friend and brain stormed locations. They live in Plymouth and wanted to have the session there, but also wanted to avoid the touristy spots. I, of course, wanted to backlight them in front of Plymouth Rock. So we compromised and did both :)

We started out behind East Bay Grille on the jetty. This was more or less to get comfortable with each other. They had never been in front of my camera and I had never photographed this couple before. After a few photos on the jetty, we drove out to Plymouth Long Beach where we took the majority of photos. Once we got everything we needed, I noticed how crazy the sunset was (the sun had JUST set, so we only had minutes before it was too dark). We jumped in the car and sped to Plymouth Rock. I quickly set up a back light, jumped into the middle of the road (literally blocking traffic and pedestrians from getting in my shot) to snap a few final photos before the sun disappeared.

I'm super happy with how the photos turned out!

They are getting married in Mexico and I'm, unfortunately, not going to be shooting their wedding. No worries though! We had an awesome time and got some really cool photos (and a crazy purple sunset!).

OH! They did ask me to design their Save the Dates!
