Newport compresses an entire coastline's worth of backdrops into one small island. Gilded Age marble above the Cliff Walk, working docks and sailboats in the harbor, bare ocean ledge along the drive — a couple can be photographed against a ballroom at five and open Atlantic at six without the shuttle ever leaving town. Very few places hand a wedding day that kind of visual range, and none of the others are this close to us.
We've photographed weddings at OceanCliff on the island's western shore and at Regatta Place out on Goat Island, with the harbor wrapped around the reception. And our engagement couples keep bringing us back between weddings — sessions along the Cliff Walk and the mansions, on the sand at Second Beach, down the shoreline at Colt State Park. When a Newport wedding day comes around, the island already feels like home turf.

Newport sits under an hour from our studio, and that changes what hiring us there looks like. There's no travel package to price out, no minimums, no hotel line item — the standard collections apply exactly as they would for a wedding in Boston or on the South Shore.
It also means the island is easy for us to reach ahead of your date. We arrive already knowing the venues, the light and where the portraits go if the weather turns — the kind of familiarity a true destination hire has to build on your clock.
