The Function Room at Black Rock Country Club is designed around its views — full-height panoramic windows overlooking the 18th fairway flood the space with natural light throughout the day and frame the sky beautifully as the evening progresses. The cathedral ceilings, modern lighting features, and those windows create a reception space that looks genuinely spectacular on camera regardless of the decor.
The outdoor portrait opportunities at Black Rock are genuinely unique. Most couples know about the fairway views, but the real gem is the 14th hole — a dramatic natural rock wall that creates one of the most striking portrait backdrops of any venue I shoot in southeastern Massachusetts. I've never had a couple not react when I show them the back of my camera from that spot.
